In the know

Most of you know that my Dad has cancer. Today he had some tests done and they found another mass. Not sure right now what's going to happen. I'll update that later when I know more.

I've been trying to get myself ready to go stay with Dad for a few weeks. Today I got a fax from his doctor. It was my FMLA paperwork. FINALLY!!! I'll turn it in tomorrow and when it's approved I'll be heading to Vegas. Me and Dot are driving out there for at least 6 weeks.

I'll keep updating this on my way there. I know this trip will be hard and emotional but I think it will also be interesting. The things that I'll see and encounter on the way there will probably make for some good blogging. I always seem to find the odd stuff in life.
